My name is Stevie. I am 22 years old and married to my middle school sweetheart, Jared. He is a firefighter and we live in Huntersville, NC with our little dog Emmett. I am also in my senior year of nursing school and am passionate about living a healthy and BALANCED lifestyle...meaning I firmly believe there is a time for kale smoothies and for chocolate chip cookies.

I love cooking and I like to share my recipes. I am gluten free and most of what I make is also free of refined sugar. I hope that this blog will inspire you guys and help you realize that living a healthy life can be easy and fun! Mostly I will post recipes, but I may throw in workouts and healthy tips and tricks here and there as well!
