One Bowl Healthy Banana Bread

A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked if there was such thing as healthy banana bread, to which I responded "absolutely"! I give you a no sugar added, gluten free recipe full of healthy fats that requires no mixer! Simply add the wet ingredients first, then the dry, and mix together until combined.

Wet ingredients:

1 cup mashed banana

1/3 cup room temperature ghee

1/2 cup maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry ingredients

Dash of salt

1 egg beaten

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 cup of banana flour (this is a great alternative flour to use for baking if you are gluten free, if you have trouble finding it at stores you can order it on amazon)

1/3 cup macadamia nuts

Grease a 4x8 loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes on 350 degrees. To check it, insert a knife and make sure it comes out clean. It is excellent drizzled with your favorite nut butter! One of my favorites is Abby's Better Nut Butter-date pecan.
